People with disabilities are welcome to apply. Position Description Santam Direct Contact Centre has tow (2) positions available for a Quality Assurance Consultant. The position will be base in Bellville, Cape Town. The main purpose of the position is to provide support to the Direct Business by managing all compliance and risk management processes, policies and practices.Key Responsibilities Apply compliance related regulations and legislation (FAIS, FICA, Money Laundering etc.) when assessing calls. Understand Santam products, sales advice process and compliance governances related to this. Understand policy replacement rules. Conduct internal Personal Lines & Commercial Lines call quality audits. Assist with coaching following training needs identified. Draft quality assurance policies and procedures. Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards. Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities. Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues. Collect and compile statistical quality data. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system. Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions. Prepare statistical and trend reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities. Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions. Monitor risk management activities. Ensure on-going compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements. Minimum Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Matric RE 5 and FAIS accredited Short-term insurance related qualification Preferably have Quality and/or Compliance experience in the financial services sector Minimum 5 years short -term insurance experience and exposure to short-term insurance Personal and Commercial products SKILLS Strong administration, systems, process orientation/background Computer literate (MS Office package) Analytical and thorough/detail inclined Investigative Process orientated (reports and mini audits) Good communication skills Coaching and development of staff Competencies Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectation Relating and Networking Analysing Applying Expertise and Technology Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives APPLY ONLINE
