Job Description
The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) is a public entity under the National Department of Science and Innovation.
SANSA has the mandate to drive the promotion and use of space and cooperation in space-related activities. Job Requirements
SANSA runs Internship Programmes in which graduates who are seeking experience are offered an opportunity to acquire practical work experience through mentoring and coaching.
We have four (4) ICT Internship opportunitiesavailable in Pretoria, Gauteng for enthusiastic, hardworking South African citizens for a period of 12 months.
Minimum requirements for placement:
Must be 35 years of age or younger, at the time of application
Be a South African citizen
Must hold a three-year tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) in the related field
Must not have been previously enrolled in an Internship Programme
Able to travel to the office daily
Experience in software development will be an advantage
Key Learning and Development Areas:
Assist with providing technical support to users and maintaining ICT systems and equipment.
Gain exposure to information systems, data management processes, and digital record-keeping practices.
Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives and learn about ICT governance, compliance, and information security practices.
Participate in software development, application support, testing, and system enhancement activities.
Apply problem-solving and innovative thinking to support ICT service delivery and operational efficiency.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to SANSA requirements.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to support continuous improvement, digital transformation, and process optimisation initiatives.
Provide administrative and project support for ICT-related projects, activities, and programmes.
Develop practical skills in ICT operations, customer service, teamwork, communication, and professional workplace conduct.
