Reference Number:PEXM0135G Position:Administrative Officer Department: Office of the Executive Mayor Division:Youth Directorate Salary:R264 804 – R363 276 per annum (plus benefits) Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate in Public Management Minimum of 1 year experience in Office Administration, Personal Assistant and Secretarial functions Core Responsibilities: Ensure effective and accurate administration for the directorate and projects with the area of accountability Apply effective systems and data management for effective record keeping as per set standards, policies and procedures Compilation and writing of minutes and agendas to convey information as well as to handle the arrangements in meetings Ensuring personal planning, scheduling and coordination’s in compliance to set process Ensure quality of own work, minimise error and continuously improve on quality and standards Receive and screen all telephone calls within the office of the and entire Ems office when required Identify and resolve queries and problems timeously, apply discretion in line with provided guidelines and escalate unresolved problems Provide administrative support and assist in developing, implementing and driving an overall operational plan Support the development and management of a performance culture within the area of accountability Responsible for Assets and resource management Responsible for the dissemination of material, stock and equipment Applications must be submitted to the following Human Resource Office
