Our client is a fun and vibrant restaurant that offers quality food and good wine. They are looking for 2 x dynamic and professional JUNIOR RESTAURANT MANAGERS to join their busy team. The successful candidates must have experience within a quality hotel and restaurant and have the ability to deliver excellent customer service.
REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Matric
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport essential
- Previous RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT experience (2-3 years)
- Must be able to work rotational shifts 08h00am – 16h00pm or 15h00pm – 23h00pm
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans, written and spoken
- Wine knowledge will be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure, multi think on their feet
- Must be a problem solver and Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with people from various cultural backgrounds
- Ability to communicate with and manage staff at all levels
- Must be able to work shifts and weekends
- Good people skills
- Must be able to work on Word, Excel
- Good knowledge of a POP system and cash ups
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
- Responsible for cash ups
- Experienced with cash-ups
- Full responsibility of petty cash
- Vibrant and dynamic
- Maintaining high standards of food, service and health and safety
- Responsible for the performance of the restaurant
- Organising and supervising the shifts of staff members
- Reliable, trustworthy and well groomed
- Meeting and greeting customers and organising table reservations
- Guest oriented and service minded
- Communication and leadership skills
- Analytical skills
- Good knowledge of POS, good computer skills and knowledge of Micros will be an advantage
