FACILITIES CLEANER \u2013 2 Posts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duration: 3 Year<\/strong> Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gender and Health Research Unit is seeking to appoint Facilities Cleaner in the Limpopo \u2013 Modimolle \u2013 Waterberg Research Site and Western Cape \u2013 Stellenbosch: The ARC Research Site.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Cleaning of offices, common areas (ablution facilities and kitchen) and meeting rooms:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleaning of office, common areas and meeting room in the morning before staff enters their office space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Making refreshments for participants and keeping the kitchen clean:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparing tea and coffee as needed.
Preparing and helping to serve sandwiches or hot meals for participants, morning and afternoon as needed.
Washing up utensils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Core Requirements:<\/strong>
Grade 8 or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years cleaning experience.
Understanding and correct use of Cleaning Supplies and Chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added Advantages:<\/strong>
Previous cleaning experience in office environment.
Experience with Cleaning in an environment with Women with Trauma exposure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal Attributes:<\/strong>
Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate (read and write).
Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to speak English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
