Ackermans Soweto Bara is looking for a vibrant P27 Shop Assistant to join our team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of this P27 role is to deliver exceptional customer shopping experience through stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping and efficient processing of transactions at till points.

Knowledge Skills & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u2022 Excellent customer service skills\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Communication skills \u2013 fluent in English (any other language would be beneficial <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Tenacious <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 High energy levels <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Highly motivated and target driven Experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Previous retail experience would be advantageous <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Provide excellent customer service to give customer a great shopping experience \u2013 Assist shoppers to find the goods and products that they are looking for \u2013 Attend to customer queries \/ complaints <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Cashier duties \u2013 Process cash and card payments \u2013 Process Lay Bys \u2013 Process customer refunds \u2013 Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor \u2013 Till balancing <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Merchandising \u2013 Ensure that stock is correctly priced and displayed \u2013 Ensure product availability of the sales floor \u2013 Housekeeping \u2013 Keeping up to date with promotions <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Risk \u2013 Ensure that products are tagged in line with the company policy \u2013 Participating in stock takes \u2013 Be on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent activities and report any suspicious behaviour to Management\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Consistently live the Ackermans values & policies and procedures in all aspects of your work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
