Annual progression up to a maximum salary of R150 606 is possible subject to satisfactory performance. The all-contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured according to your needs within a framework.<br \/>\nCENTRE : Cecilia Makiwane Hospital<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS :<\/strong><br \/>\nGrade 10 with 3-work, housekeeping and cleaning services.<br \/>\nCommunication and decision making skills.<br \/>\nWork shifts including weekends and public holidays.<br \/>\nBe able to work as a team.<br \/>\nProvide leadership.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DUTIES :<\/strong><br \/>\nSupervise and provide cleaning services: Develop work schedules and allocation lists (Duty rooster).<br \/>\nAllocate work to general assistants and cleaners.<br \/>\nGuide the provision of general work and related work in all the designated areas in the ward such as ward bed-side, doctors room, change room, toilet.<br \/>\nPhysically lead and provide general work, housekeeping and cleaning services in all designated areas in the ward including monitoring, sweeping, mopping, stripping and polishing of all floors of the designated areas in the ward.<br \/>\nGuide and clean all items such as windows, walls, basins, sinks, lockers and pans.<br \/>\nProvide routine general work, housekeeping, cleaning and compliance services: Check compliance on hygiene and infection control in the provision of general work and related services in the ward.<br \/>\nMonitor and facilitate removal and hanging of screens and curtains.<br \/>\nCount, record, pack and store ward linen.<br \/>\nIssue ward linen to and from the ward.<br \/>\nSet food trolley and dish food to patients.<br \/>\nMonitor and clean ward kitchenette including kitchen items and utensils.<br \/>\nProvide routine maintenance services: Routinely check proper care and maintenance of general work, housekeeping and cleaning equipment.<br \/>\nMonitor storage and safeguarding of cleaning material and equipment.<br \/>\nMonitor and facilitate routine maintenance and repair of electrical or mechanical malfunctioning of cleaning machines and other related equipment.<br \/>\nPeriodically check stock levels and place orders for general, housekeeping and cleaning
