Unisa Council has made an amount of R99 million available to assist Unisa students in various categories.<\/p>\n<p><u>Following Catagories:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who could not graduate because of outstanding debt<\/li>\n<li>Continuing students with outstanding debt<\/li>\n<li>New students who could not be assisted by NSFAS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>To qualify for this bursary, students must apply and meet the following criteria:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be a South African student<\/li>\n<li>Be registered for a formal qualification<\/li>\n<li>Must have obtained at least a 55% average<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Please do not apply if you have already applied for this funding and received feedback from Unisa.<\/p>\n<p>The vetting of applications will be done by an external service provider to verify the authenticity of the information submitted.<\/p>\n<p>A means test will be conducted to determine financial neediness.<\/p>\n<p>Incomplete forms will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unisa.ac.za\/static\/myunisa\/Content\/Announcements\/Documents\/Unisa-Council-bursary-application-form.pdf\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><strong>Click Here to APPLICATION FORM<\/strong><\/u><\/a> for the application form.<\/p>\n<p>Application forms are also available at Unisa regional offices.<\/p>\n<p>Completed applications should be submitted via e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:caf@unisa.ac.za\">caf@unisa.ac.za<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for applications is 12 May 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that the outcome of your application will be communicated to you via SMS and your myLife e-mail account.<\/p>\n<h2>HOW TO APPLY<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unisa.ac.za\/sites\/myunisa\/default\/Announcements\/Unisa-re%E2%80%93opens-applications-for-Unisa-Council-funding\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\"><u><strong>Click Here to VIEW UNISA PAGE<\/strong><\/u><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Unisa re-opens applications for Unisa Council funding.
