Candidate must live in Gauteng (preferably near to Midrand)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The criteria is as follows:-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates must be in possession of a Travel or Tourism qualification (i.e. national diploma or diploma) &#8211;&nbsp;<strong>completed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be computer literate and must be proficient in Microsoft&nbsp; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must have knowledge of Armedeus and Protas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must currently be unemployed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must not be participating on another learnership or internship program;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Candidates must live in Gauteng (preferably in the Midrand area) \u2013 relocation is NOT an option;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2023;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be a South African Citizen;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competencies\/Skills Required:-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent communication skills \u2013 written and verbal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well organised<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities\/Duties:-<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advising clients on travel destinations, transportation options, and accommodations based on their preferences, budget, and needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services on behalf of clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing travel insurance options and advising clients on travel safety and health precautions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handling travel-related documents such as passports, visas, and other necessary paperwork.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating travel itineraries and providing travel guides and maps to clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolving any travel-related issues or emergencies that may arise during the trip.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicating with clients to determine their travel preferences and needs and making recommendations based on those preferences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handling administrative tasks, such as processing payments, issuing tickets, and preparing travel documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining client files and keeping track of their travel arrangements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during the booking process or during travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, travel products, and services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not received a response to your application by 20 October 2023, please consider your application to be unsuccessful.<br><strong>ONLY CANDIDATES WHO MEET THE CRITERIA MUST APPLY.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information please contact:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kerry Scheepers<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><a href=\"https:\/\/webapp.placementpartner.com\/wi\/application_form.php?id=gijima_youth&amp;vacancy_ref=JHB000042-KS&amp;source=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/webapp.placementpartner.com\/wi\/application_form.php?id=gijima_youth&amp;vacancy_ref=JHB000042-KS&amp;source=<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gijima is recruiting 1 x Travel Agent Intern for their offices in Midrand.&nbsp;
