Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Waiter is the first contact with our guests when entering the Restaurant. He\/she must be able to welcome our customers with a smile and make sure they are happy at all times when dinning. The waiter\u2019s duty is to escort customers to assigned dining areas. The waiter must study the Menu and be familiar with the dishes that are on the menu. He\/she must be able to take meal orders and beverages from customers and place in the kitchen. The waiter must be available to work within our opearting hours, (e.g evenings, public holidays and weekends). The waiter has to be able to stand and walk during shifts. Above all the waiter must be able to provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Setting-up tables with correct cutlery and utensils<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Make sure the dinning area is clean and neatly setup<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Great customers and hand out menus<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Take meal orders and beverage orders from customers and place these orders to the kitchen<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Study the Menu and be familiar with the dishes and beverages on it<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– As a waiter you must be able to make Menu Recommendations and inform customers of any specials<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Monitor the entire dining area and bar<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Coordination to carry plates or trays without dropping anything<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Prepare the bill for tables when requested<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Make sure the correct amount has been paid<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Check customers if they are satisfied with their meals<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– A waiter must have reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Ability to stand and walk long hours in your shift<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Minimum Educational Level: Grade 12 or Equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Certificate in Hospitality (Added advantage)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
– Minimum of +\/- 2 years\u2019 experience working as a waiter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
