Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grade 12
A valid driver\u2019s license with code B
No criminal record
Good physical shape<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students must pass the Certificate of Education and Continuing Education: Road Traffic Law Enforcement, as well as the Metro Police Department Law Enforcement Skills Program (MPDLE) SP4 \/ 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful applicants must attend all classes for the duration of the learnerships or apprenticeships (18 months)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key performance areas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful completion of the continuing education and training certificate: application of the highway code, as well as the MPDLE skills program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shortlisted candidates may be required to submit to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An assessment of the ability to drive
A medical examination as proof that the candidate can do strenuous exercise.
A suitability assessment
Fingerprint checks carried out by the South African Police Service (SAPS)
Substance abuse controls
Extensive physical training, as well as training in accordance with the law on firearms and ammunition.
Applicants will be subject to the training school\u2019s code of conduct as well as the approval requirements stipulated by the training school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
