The suitable candidates will be required to assist with general work, queue marshalling and administrative duties \/ data capture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The details are as follows:<br>1) Department: Health<br>Branch: IPPR Health<br>Designation: EPWP<br>Salary: R5 500 pm (monthly stipend)<br>Location: Health Department facilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Appointment Requirements:<br>\u2022 Grade 10 or higher<br>\u2022 Ages 18 years and older (youth preferred)<br>\u2022 People with disabilities<br>\u2022 Knowledge of the City\u2019s process, best practices and policies and procedures on Health and Social issues;<br>\u2022 Numeric and good writing and verbal communication skills; and \u2022 Different uses of electronic devices such as sending emails, using the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Primary Function \/ Key Performance:<br>General worker<br>\u2022 To clean the waiting areas, consulting rooms, offices, kitchens, laundries etc.<br>\u2022 To ensure that all surfaces used for clinical procedures are cleaned\/dusted appropriately prior to setting up of clinic procedure areas.<br>\u2022 To sort and Change soiled linen in all consulting rooms<br>\u2022 Empty dustbins and ensure that immediate surroundings of the clinic are kept free of litter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Administration assistant \/ Data capturer<br>\u2022 Data capturing\/completion of clients records and updating of client\u2019s information<br>\u2022 Compiling monthly statistics of clients who accessed the clinic<br>\u2022 Filing of completed client\u2019s cards in alpha \u2013 numeric or chronological sequence and retrieval of files on request from departmental personnel<br>\u2022 Make necessary appointments for services using the appointment method in various clinics<br>\u2022 Co-ordinate ordering of stationery, clinic records and necessary printed material to ensure adequate supplies within the clinic<br>\u2022 Recording discussions and typing minutes of departmental meetings and forwarding to specific personnel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Queue marshal<br>\u2022 Welcome patients and visitors<br>\u2022 Assist in giving information and directing clinic clients in various streams and ensure smooth patient flow<br>\u2022 Screen patients in the waiting areas<br>\u2022 Managing, controlling queues, direct clients to appropriate areas of the facility<br>\u2022 Oversee helpdesk and attend to patient enquiries<br>\u2022 Performing of any other duties as delegated by supervisor (applies to all responsibilities)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading Competencies: Collaborative\/Teamwork &amp; Accountability.
