{"id":3085,"date":"2021-11-23T19:00:46","date_gmt":"2021-11-23T19:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/career74.co.za\/?p=3085"},"modified":"2021-11-23T19:00:48","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T19:00:48","slug":"city-power-internships-applications-for-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/career74.co.za\/?p=3085","title":{"rendered":"City Power: Internships Applications for 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>City Power Johannesburg (SOC) Limited, in partnership with National Treasury (NT) extends an invitation to unemployed South African youth to participate in the&nbsp;<strong>Infrastructure Skills Development Grant (ISDG)<\/strong>&nbsp;Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of ISDG is to recruit unemployed young graduates, with qualification from accredited Universities\/ Universities of Technology at a three (3) years fixed term contract, to offer training and get them to professionalise with the statutory councils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants have to be South African citizens<\/li><li>Aged between 18 and 35 years,<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fields of study:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Must have&nbsp;completed studies in the following disciplines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>BSc \/ BEng \/ Bing \/ BTech Electrical Engineering<\/li><li>BSc \/ BEng \/ Bing Civil Engineering<\/li><li>BSc \/ National Diploma Quantity Surveyor<\/li><li>ND Electrical Engineering<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><br><\/li><li><\/li><li><\/li><li><\/li><li>All applicants will be required to undergo an assessment.<\/li><li>The assessment will be held at the City Power Head Offices.<\/li><li>To comply with COVID-19 regulations all applicants will be pre booked for their assessment appointment and must ensure that they make their allocated time.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>City Power will contact all applicants to assist with the pre booking.<\/li><li>The assessment will be a multiple-choice assessment aimed at assessing the applicant\u2019s knowledge of City Power and the City of Johannesburg.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.citypower.co.za\/careers\/Available%20Vacancies\/Latest%20Internal%20Application%20Form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download Application Form<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The following documents must accompany your completed application form:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Certified copy of your qualification.
