Are you passionate about healthcare and delivering superior patient care? Clicks has an exciting opportunity available to complete a Learnership Programme to qualify as a Pharmacist Assistant. The position reports to the Pharmacy Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Job description<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learnership Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Successfully complete a Nation al Certificate: Pharmacy Assistance Learnership Programme (Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant) and a Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Learner Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant) through the accredited Pharmacy Healthcare Academn<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A&nbsp;structured learning programme that consists of a theoretical and practical component and that leads to a qualification that is registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As a Learner on this programme you will be required to meet the following objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Successfully complete&nbsp;the Learnership Training Contracts at a registered Clicks Pharmacy and under an approved tutor<\/li><li>Attend the required training interventions and successfully complete the competency assessments<\/li><li>Submit a Portfolio of Evidence<\/li><li>Provide support to the healthcare team in one of the Click\u2019s Pharmacies under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and within the legal scope of practice as outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualification requirement:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Essential requirement:&nbsp;completion of&nbsp;Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics (or&nbsp;60% in Mathematical Literacy) ; 50% in English and a Pass in Life Science (Biology)\/Physics<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Customer service orientated<\/li><li>Teamwork<\/li><li>Integrity<\/li><li>Accuracy and attention to detail<\/li><li>Numeracy<\/li><li>Literacy<\/li><li>Computer Literacy<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Essential Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Adhering to Principles and Values<\/li><li>Working with People<\/li><li>Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations<\/li><li>Following Instructions and Procedures<\/li><li>Relating and Networking<\/li><li>Planning and Organising<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preference will be given to individuals that:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Meet the Company\u2019s EE targets as set out in our employment equity plan<\/li><li>Meet the furtherance of the National agenda for the development of unemployed youth<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work back agreement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Successful applicants will be required to enter into a work back agreement and will be required to work for Clicks as a qualified Pharmacist Assistant for a period equal to the length of the learnership&nbsp;period as a minimum<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kindly note only applicants that meet the minimum requirements will be contacted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"https:\/\/careers.clicksgroup.co.za\/applicant\/index.php?controller=Adverts&amp;method=view&amp;advertid=0e2b9e42-f0f8-4ef4-aacf-1e99b5450570\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>APPLY ONLINE&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do you require help with the registration process?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Support team is here to assist.
