The City is offering 100 bursaries to South African youth, who permanently reside in Johannesburg, to pursue full-time undergraduate studies in one of the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Actuarial Science<\/li>\n<li>Law \/ Legal<\/li>\n<li>Built Environment (Architecture, Construction)<\/li>\n<li>Communication \/ Social Media<\/li>\n<li>Library<\/li>\n<li>Commerce<\/li>\n<li>Local Government Sciene \/ Politcal Science<\/li>\n<li>Logistics Management<\/li>\n<li>Community Services (Disaster Management)<\/li>\n<li>Marketing Management<\/li>\n<li>Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Curatorial Studies<\/li>\n<li>Emergency Management Services<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Municipal Governance<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Management<\/li>\n<li>Production and Operations Management<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance<\/li>\n<li>Finance (Accounting, Auditing, Entrepreneurial, Small Business Management, Suppay Chain Management, Treasury, Economists)<\/li>\n<li>Geographical Information Systems (GIS)<\/li>\n<li>Health (Nursing)<\/li>\n<li>Quantity Surveying<\/li>\n<li>Real Estate (Property Management, Property Valuation)<\/li>\n<li>Information Technology<\/li>\n<li>Regional Planning<\/li>\n<li>International Relations and Protocol<\/li>\n<li>Sports Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Criteria for selection:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Selection of successful candidates will be strictly on academic merit.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants are expected to study at an accredited South African tertiary Institution.<\/li>\n<li>It is the student\u2019s responsibility to seek admission with a tertiary institution.<\/li>\n<li>The bursary \u00a1s for study programmes of no less than one year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The bursary is renewable annually, based on academic performance \/ results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Bursary covers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>TuitIon and registration fees, prescribed books and \/ or study material and is limited to the amount of R 25,000.00 per academic year<br \/>\n<h3>How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.joburg.org.za\/work_\/Vacancies\/Documents\/Copy%20of%20BURSARY%20APPLICATION%202019%20%282%29.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download Application Form<\/a>, Bursary application forms are also available from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>City of Johannesburg Customer Service Centre\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Reception Area, Ground Floor A-Block.
