\nMinimum Samtrac qualification
\nIncident Investigation, Internal Auditing in accordance to OHS Reg\u2019s,
\nOccupational Hygiene in F&B, Casino & Hotel Industry an advantage
\nMust be computer literate
\nMust be able to train others
\nAt least 5 years\u2019 experience as a Health & Safety Officer
\nResponsibilities include:<\/p>\n
Ensure that staff and tenants are aware of and operate in strict adherence to fire safety procedures, COIDA and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
\nClosely monitor the property\u2019s security and evacuation readiness
\nChecking adherence to local government & insurance, SLA requirements (specifically linked to OHSA)
\nCoordinate regular inspections of out-sourced operations
\nInvestigate and resolve tenant and customer OHSA breaches
\nEnsure that property projects are managed in strict compliance with OHSA requirements
\nLiaise with local authorities (SAP, Metro Police, Health and Labour Department) where required
