This opportunity is available to financially needy individuals. The bursary will finance both undergraduates and post graduates in the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anthropology<\/li>\n<li>Archaeology (marine, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Archives and records management<\/li>\n<li>Conservation of the built environment<\/li>\n<li>Conservation and preventive conservation<\/li>\n<li>Collections (cultural &amp; natural) management<\/li>\n<li>Heritage resources management<\/li>\n<li>Museum management and curatorship<\/li>\n<li>Indigenous Knowledge Systems.<\/li>\n<li>Information Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizenship<\/li>\n<li>Financially needy<\/li>\n<li>2017 Proof of registration at an institution of higher learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Value of the Bursary<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum up to R 70 000.<\/li>\n<li>NB: Funds are payable directly to the higher institution of learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following documents must accompany the application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified copy of ID document<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of the salary statement or affidavit (if not working) of your parents\/guardians<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of grade 12 results<\/li>\n<li>If you were already studying at university in 2016 \u2013 latest results \/ academic record<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>How to apply<\/strong>The closing date for submission of applications is 24, February 2017 at 16H30.<\/div>\n<div>Application forms can be obtained from the offices of the Department of Arts and Culture, 5TH Floor, 481 Kingsley Centre, Cnr.
