The Military Skills Development System (MSDS) is a two year voluntary service system with the aim of equipping and developing young South Africans with the necessary skills. Candidates are required to sign up for a period of years, during which they will receive Military Training and further Functional Training<\/p>\n<p><strong>All applicants must comply with the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Have no record of criminal offenses<\/li>\n<li>Preferably single<\/li>\n<li>Not be area bound<\/li>\n<li>Comply with medical fitness requirements for appointments in the SANDF<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Be free from physical disabilities and doesn\u2019t have fear of heights (Claustrophobia)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be between the age of 18 and 22<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Completed Grade 12, with Mathematics and Physical Sciences with at least level 3 for both subjects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements for graduates<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Graduate applicants must have relevant qualifications such as Human Resource and Logistics or N6 with Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical, Marine or electrical engineering<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application form must be submitted with the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy of ID<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Matric Certificate<\/li>\n<li>A short detailed CV<\/li>\n<li>Highest achieved qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The closing date is on the 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of February 2017.
