Introduction

SPAR South Rand is looking to recruit a Category Controller for their dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Based in Jet Park, the purpose of the position is to assist the Category Manager with the basic replenishment buying and ensure that all day-to-day administration is maintained and updated.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Demand planning
  • Manage stock levels
  • Financial control
  • Attend to weekly/monthly sales and supplier reports
  • Drive sales
  • Data management
  • Meet and maintain Inbound and Outbound DC service level
  • General administrative support
  • Ad-hoc duties when required

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • 2 Years FMCG and strong admin experience
  • Related tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Excel intermediate and AS400 (SUGO) working experience
  • Sound business/financial acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Manage work (time management)
  • High stress tolerance
  • Build strategic working relationships
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Influential skills
