Job Description The successful candidate will be working in the Office of the University Registrar as an Administrative Officer and will be required to provide administrative support with respect to all processes related to registration of students and examinations, including certification.
Position Specification
Minimum Requirements • In possession of Bachelor’s degree
• At least three (3) years’ experience in academic administration in a higher education environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to coordinate, multi-task and work under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High level of computer literacy – experience in Adapt IT would be an added advantage
• Must be meticulous and able to show attention to detail

NB: It must be noted that this unit is within the Office of the University Registrar’s environment and is extremely busy due to examination, graduation and registration.

Recommendations
Duties & Responsibilities • Process all registration and examination documentation
• Assist with the preparation and execution of the registration and examination processes
• Ensure that all administrative tasks with respect to registrations concessions, examinations and graduations are completed as per set deadlines
• Liaise with and assist all School Administrators and Head of Schools
• General academic administration and assist in various sections within the Office of the University Registrar
