POST: CLERK: CORRECTIONAL ADMINISTRATION

SALARY: R152 862 per annum

REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12 or equivalent, Relevant experience in a similar environment would be an added advantage. Valid driver’s licence. Computer literate.

COMPETENCIES AND ATTRIBUTES: Plan and organize meetings, report writing. Punctuality, confidentiality, service delivery and client orientation, integrity and honesty, assertiveness, influence and ability to work under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Correspondence to and from the Area Commissioners. Arrangement and administration of meetings. Planning and managing of activities for the Regional Coordinator: Corrections. Communication on behalf of the Regional Coordinator: Corrections. Handle Internal as well as External calls. Managing of classified information. Ensure that knowledge of classified issues to other persons is conveyed on a need to know basis only. Typing of documents for the Regional Coordinator: Corrections Logistical administration. Coordinating monthly statistics the Regional Coordinator: Corrections.
