- Matric (Grade 12)
- Communication skills,
- Total commitment
- Work Independently
- Medically and physically fit
- Attention to detail
- Adhere to Health and Safety Legislation and Procedure
- Must have own transport
- Must be able to work shifts
Job Specification
Safety
- Abide to all Unitrans Policies and Procedures.
- Needs to follow safe working procedures in line with Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements as well as that of our customer.
- Needs to wear all his PPE whilst on duty.
- Ensure that Forklift is in a safe working condition.
- Submit to alcohol testing on entering company premises.
Picking
- Ensure that the correct product is picked from the correct location within the warehouse as instructed.
- Ensure that all products are handled correctly to avoid unnecessary damage.
Loading and Offloading
- To load vehicles with picked product as instructed by supervisor.
- To assist with the inversion of drums.
Time & Attendance
- Follow time and attendance procedure as stipulated.
- To work overtime when necessary.
Reporting and Procedures
- Reporting all defects and mechanical problems to supervisor.
- Report all damages caused within the warehouse, immediately to the warehouse supervisor.
