Job Title Sales Representative: Card Services Division Operations Business Unit Card Services and Business Development Location – Branch / Campus Cape Town North Location – Province Western Cape Purpose of the Role To promote and sell Capitec Bank Point-of Sale (POS) terminals to potential merchants and providing after sales / technical support. Responsible for areas in the Northern Suburbs and Southern Suburbs. To build and maintain merchant relationships through effective client service. Ensure after-sales and technical support is provided to current and new merchants within agreed SLA. Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Sales would be preferred Experience At least 3 years’ proven EXTERNAL sales / cold-calling experience within a similar field A good understanding of the card transacting environment. Knowledge and skills Good understanding of the card transacting environment Communication skills (verbal and written) in English Ability to communicate in a third official language would be an added advantage Interpersonal skills Computer literate (MS Office) Planning and organizing skills Energy and drive Client service orientation Additional Requirements Own transport and valid driver’s license are pre-requisites for the position Clear criminal and credit record More We are committed to Employment Equity when recruiting internally and externally.
